The story of Pile, a colossal city that buckles and collapses under it
own weight while its ruler, Prince Scart, together with his
companions seek to escape. Brian Aldiss’ epic poem is
accompanied by 26 intricate illustrations depicting Prince Scart’s
fantastic journey to a realm beyond Pile.
Now sadly out of print over the years Pile has become something
of a cult book.
